How do you infuse romance and empowerment into your creations?

I infuse romance and empowerment into my creations by blending soft, feminine details with bold, confident designs. Romance comes through in the delicate patterns, flowing silhouettes, and intricate details that evoke emotion and tell a story. Empowerment, on the other hand, is about ensuring that every piece makes the wearer feel strong, beautiful, and self-assured.

For me, it’s about striking a balance—creating designs that while also inspiring confidence and individuality. Each piece is crafted with the intention of not only looking beautiful but also making the person wearing it feel unstoppable.

About the Collections

What inspired you to create a ski collection alongside your signature evening gowns?

The inspiration behind creating a ski collection alongside Nur Karaata signature evening gowns came from the desire to merge style with functionality in every aspect of life. I wanted to design pieces that not only capture the elegance and sophistication of my evening collections but also offer the comfort and performance needed for winter sports. Skiing, like evening events, is a moment where confidence and style matter. I saw an opportunity to design for both worlds—offering luxurious, yet practical options for women who want to look and feel amazing, whether they’re on the slopes or at a glamorous après-ski celebration.

What’s your go-to Valentine’s look for a glamorous evening?

My go-to Valentine’s look for a glamorous evening would be something effortlessly elegant yet bold enough to make a statement. I love the Alhambra Mini Dress, which is velvet in classic black with pink floral details and flatters the body. To add a touch of drama, I'd choose bold accessories like statement earrings or a chic clutch, and complete the look with a tight bun and a bright makeup look.
